An event of great spectacle to mark on the calendar for both adults and children, organized by the Snowboard Club of Cortina in collaboration with the Cortina Foundation.
The Snowboard World Cup is a unique opportunity to see the best international champions of this sport compete in Parallel Giant Slalom.
As usual, the Tondi del Faloria slope will host the racecourse, with a slope of 21% and a total length of 800 meters.
Athletes will compete in qualifiers during the day on Saturday, leading up to the nighttime finals at 6:00 PM, surrounded by the unique backdrop of the Dolomites, which are painted in shades of pink and orange.
This calendar confirmation follows a repeat, following the success of previous years:
Indeed, the Queen of the Dolomites will also host a stage of the Snowboard Cross World Cup on March 8 and 9, 2024, on the San Zan di Socrepes slope.
CORTINA CURLING CUP

The program includes a round-robin phase that will run from Thursday, January 11, to Saturday, January 13, 2024.
The top 8 ranked teams will then compete in the final, which will take place on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

GRANFONDO DOBBIACO CORTINA
From February 3, 2024, to February 4, 2024
The historic Granfondo Dobbiaco-Cortina has been held since 1977 and is the second-largest Granfondo in Italy.
It gained international fame by hosting the Tour de Ski in 2010 on the course from Cortina to Dobbiaco.
The Granfondo is an international race on the FIS 2023/2024 calendar and one of the stages in the Skiclassics Challengers series.
Since its first edition, it has started in Dobbiaco (BZ) and finished in Cortina d'Ampezzo (BL), following a course suitable for both athletes and amateurs, largely along the old railway that connected the two towns until the early 1960s.
The event attracts thousands of skiers and consists of two days of racing. On Saturday, February 3, there's a classic technique race covering 42 km, and on Sunday, February 4, there's a free technique/skating race covering 35 km.
Spectators can watch the races at the start, along the course, and at the finish line in the Autostazione square in Cortina d'Ampezzo, where the awards ceremony will also take place. It's a great opportunity to see champions and enthusiasts tackling long distances on "narrow" skis.
For participants, there is a Pasta Party organized at the end of the race.
SNOW RUN February 24, 2024
Two night running races on the Olympic and World Alpine Skiing slopes.
The Cortina Snow Run course is classified with a red label, "EE," which means it's a route for experienced hikers.
This route requires the ability to navigate through snowy terrain, including icy sections.
The race takes place on ski slopes, and therefore, the following rules must be observed:
It is strictly forbidden to go up or down the ski slopes, whether on skis or on foot, after the closing time of the ski facilities.
During opening hours, it is absolutely prohibited to walk on the ski slopes, so it is not possible to reconnoiter the course on foot.
FIS SNOWBOARD CROSS WORLD CUP From March 8, 2024, to March 9, 2024
Following the December race of the Parallel Giant Slalom, Cortina d'Ampezzo will host another round of the Snowboard Cross World Cup on March 8 and 9, 2024.
However, unlike the Giant Slalom, which traditionally takes place in Faloria, the Snowboard Cross will be held in the Socrepes area on the San Zan slope:
The two disciplines differ significantly in terms of track preparation and space requirements.
The spectacle of this competition remains, as after the afternoon qualifiers, the finals will be held at night.
